For the children

One of my New Year's resolutions was to keep a journal. Surprise! This is a resolution I've actually been able to keep! It's the cutest little thing and I like to put notes, pictures, and other such memorabilia in there. I'm working hard on, not just writing about what I did but how I felt while doing it. Not just because I'm going to go back and read this little book when I'm older, but hopefully my children and my children's children will find it an interesting read too. I think about when I come across my mom's old things, yearbooks, pictures and other such things, and I want my kids to be as excited about learning about my past as I am about learning about my mom's past.
Life goes by so fast! I just want mine to be one that's remembered.
If anyone has any good journal keeping tips let me know!

I don't have any tips, but I AM proud of you!! I'm very impressed, and yes, recording the FEELINGS and not just the events is really important. Love you!
